A California native, Steven discovered metaphysics when he was 14 years old. He began reading new age thought books and participating in weekly meditation groups that his mom gave in their home.

When he was 19, he decided to go live and work as a volunteer in a new age spiritual community. There he learned the value and spirit of community with people from all over the world. He also gave public presentations on various new age topics.

He studied journalism in college and also earned a degree in Religious Studies.
While attending the university, he started a popular yoga group. He has pursued training in Shiatsu, classical yoga, Aikido and massage.

Before NAC, he started a business as a magazine publisher that focused on California lifestyles. He was also a successful sales executive for Fortune 500 companies for over 7 years. Today he enjoys a healthy lifestyle with his wife and his two young boys.

Steven and Sandra created NAC with the belief that there was a need for a unique dating website for like-minded people. They both met online after using mainstream dating websites for many years with no success. Steven was living in California and Sandra in Georgia at that time.
